A student from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) has just handed over his bursary worth more than R90 000 to “someone more in need of it.” The student, who chose not to be named, had said that he had come from a fortunate enough background not to need the financial backing from BankSeta. He said he would rather see it go into the hands of a student who would otherwise have to fight hard to get an education. The bursary covers tuition, books, accommodation and food & a travel allowance. A gift that a more financially needy student will now receive. Thank you, anonymous. Thank you. |
