You know when you get that call from your local network provider to let you know you’re “pre-approved” for an upgrade? Yea. Well, Caster Semenya just got that call from the Olympic Committee, except she doesn’t have to break her bank to get it – quite the contrary, actually. Due to the recent doping scandal involving Russian sprinter Mariya Savinova, who has been stripped of all medals from 2010 to 2013, Caster will get two upgrades:
Caster has made it clear that she is not particularly excited about these upgrades, since she never stood at the top of that podium to sing Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrika. But she is happy that the doping is still being caught 5 years later. Mbalula, I believe you owe our girl Caster some cash 😉 |
