Disclaimer: This guy might be the coolest oke on the planet.
Lebang Nong was in Grade 11 when his maths teacher was involved in a car accident and was unable to continue teaching. The seventeen year-old was a gifted mathematician, and took it upon himself to start tutoring his class mates. His teaching (of a curriculum that he still had to learn) was so successful that his peers excelled at the subject.
Lebang didn’t stop there. He founded Katleho Pele Education where he continued his work. The foundation tutors maths to learners of all ages, including University students. He has been recognized for his achievements on a number of occasions, and is a true inspiration to those who need to beat the limitations around them.
You keep doing good work, Lebang. The world needs people like you.
